The IAA campus was abuzz with excitement on September 16, 2023, as our Pathfinder club, under the expert leadership of Master Guide Dioper Vonn Demasu-ay, embarked on a memorable journey to celebrate World Pathfinder Day. The day started with a challenging yet exhilarating hike from our campus through the heart of our community. Divided into four groups, each led by experienced Master Guides - Julian Navales, Marphy Egas, Xyram Tayrus, and Nathan Bosquit - our Pathfinders set out on this remarkable adventure.
As we made our way to Puntod, Lopez Jaena, our Pathfinders took a moment to spread positivity by visiting homes and offering songs and prayers to the residents. This act of kindness exemplified the true spirit of the Pathfinder motto, "The Love of Christ Compels Us." Notably, we were honored to have some of our faculty members and even our school principal join us on this inspiring hike, further strengthening the bond between students and educators.
The highlight of our journey was the Divine Service held at Ma'am Esther Osorio's residence, where we gathered for a spiritually enriching experience. Master Guide Nhey Ann Shane graced us with her wisdom, delivering an inspiring message on how to be exemplary Pathfinders, reminding us of our duty to be a shining light in our community.
As the sun began to set, we concluded our day by hiking back to the IAA campus, hearts and spirits lifted from the day's adventures. World Pathfinder Day 2023 will forever be etched in our memories as a day of camaraderie, service, and spiritual growth. We look forward to more opportunities to embody the Pathfinder ideals and make a positive impact on our community. Thank you to all who participated in making this day a success!
